Sexual Assault Sentencing Comparison

In response to the FHP Trooper who received 18 months DOC (Department of Corrections) + 8 years sex offender probation for 10 counts of Solicitation of a Minor (in this case age 17) via a Computer, CourtWatch compiled sentencing information on other defendants accused of similar crimes and compared them to cases where the defendant was charged with actual physical contact.

The charges we collected data on were: Solicitation of Minor via Computer and Sexual Activity w/ 16-17 year old.
